Great service & food! Alfredo was our waiter and provided excellent service. We had the quesabirrias & the jalisco fajitas. Great margaritas as well! I highly recommend this place!

Came here for the first time with my best friend. Food was amazing. Customer Service was great our servers name was Pedro. He did an amazing job checking on us. The food was fresh came out fast and tasted amazing. If you're in Cookeville TN I would recommend you try this place especially if you like authentic Mexican food! You won't be disappointed. This dish is enchiladas de Mar. Has shrimp in it if you like seafood I would try this, shrimp cocktail, or ceviche! Especially if you like pico de Gallo.

Haven't been here for year but tried it again recently. Much better than I remember. Went to the location on Jefferson Ave. Seated right away. Service is fast and friendly. We had the Burrito Especial, Street Tacos, Enchiladas and Nachos.

Ate here July 22, 2024. Enjoyed the crunchy tacos and service. Easy to get to from I40. The salsa was ok.

I highly recommend El Tapatio. The food, service, and atmosphere are all excellent. Our waiter Israel was extremely friendly and provided phenomenal service, and the food is delicious with large portions!

Of all places, my wife picked this spot for Valentine’s Day. She was set on it, but I hesitated—it’s right next to a shabby motel. Inside, though, it was a shockingly great experience. The service was top-notch, and the server was so thoughtful, even giving my wife a rose at the end. Highly recommend it! My only gripe is they should spruce up the building to distance it from the motel vibe next door.
